We love it when we get to travel and meet couples outside of the Nashville area. Take Brian & his lovely bride, Soo. Brian enjoys photography and knew us simply from our blog. When he and Soo got engaged they reached out to us and we were all pumped that we were free for their wedding! Once we flew into Massachusetts we were able to get together with them the night before their big day. It’s one thing to talk over the phone with your couples but it’s even cooler actually getting to meet! As soon as we met these two, we liked them instantly. They both are so sweet and really fun and of course, Brian loves photography so can it get any better than that?

The Fabulous Boston Wedding of Brian & Soo!!!
You saw the sneak peek and now it’s time to show you the full wedding of Craig & Nicholle!
This really sweet Colorado couple had a destination wedding at The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach, FL and what a great day it turned out to be! We flew in the day of the rehearsal and the weather was beautiful and warm, but the forecast wasn’t looking too good for the next day. We woke up to gray skies. rain, and lots of wind on the wedding day and were a bit worried that the beach wedding Craig and Nicholle were wanting wasn’t going to happen. Through the course of the preparations, the gray skies cleared away and the sun began to shine! The beach front was still a bit windy so the wedding ceremony moved to the pavilion of the hotel, and it was perfect.

The Sewanee Wedding of Christian & Elizabeth
We got to shoot the awesome wedding of Christian & Elisabeth a few weeks back in Sewanee, TN and had an absolute blast! Christian actually graduated from med school the day before and then they and their families drove up to Sewanee for their wedding the next day! Whew! They were troopers and you would have had no idea that Christian just finished grueling exams. Christian & Elizabeth were amazingly calm and were a joy to work with.

We often get asked if we travel for weddings, and you bet we do!
The other weekend we trekked out to the mountains of North Carolina to a quaint and picturesque town by the name of Cashiers. Our wonderful couple, Jeremy & Emily had their wedding at the High Hampton Inn & Country Club and it was a BEAUTIFUL location. The mountains, the scenery – we couldn’t wait to begin the photos. Sadly, about 5 minutes after we started Jeremy’s photos, the rain came down and did not let up the whole day. No worries – we came prepared and made the best of the available light and used some of our own lighting! The day turned out fantastic and Emily & Jeremy were happily wed and married by the end of the day. Yay!!

Jody and I shot an amazingly cool wedding in the mountains of North Carolina this past Saturday and it was a blast.
